Note: Teams in this tier will be getting one sentence until the toilet bowl heats up, unless someone makes a major move. The rankings going forward will reflect my opinion on their rebuild as well as their chances in the toilet bowl. Week 14's power rankings will include a full breakdown of Toilet Bowl scenarios.
12. Muff Punters (➖)
The Punters lost a heartbreaking one, but still have not made any sort of pick trade this season.
11. GIRTH (📉-1)
Still just so terrible, but has picks for next season.
10. PT Flea Flik-er (📈+1)
Nice win with toilet bowl implications.
9. Slat's Slimes (📉-1)
Insane upset win, which gives them some amount of cushion in the toilet bowl race. They only move down because the Blue Waffles have a real chance at making the playoffs.
6. Bud Ice Penguins (📉-1)
Despite this week's flop, one of the best combinations of rebuild and team talent. Only dropped due to Waffles playoff chances.
7. The Blue Waffles (📈+2)
Hold on a second now. The Waffles are extremely close to catching up in the playoff race to the Orcas. They need to beat Bud Ice Penguins this week to improve their chances. With the Orcas facing the Sharks and Sacks in back to back weeks, and the Waffles holding the tiebreaker, anything is possible here. Will write more if they manage to win this coming week.
Blubber Warriors
6. The Bridge Road Orcas (➖)
The Orcas got absolutely smacked (by 100 points) by the Pirates this week. I didn't even want to say GG because of how brutal that beatdown was. Unfortunately for them, the road does not ease up, as they face the Sharks and Sacks in the city in the next two weeks. The Blue Waffles, despite selling pieces, are now within striking distance of picking up this spot. Should Jack make a pick trade to lock in his playoffs?
Top Dawgs
5. Sacks in the City (📉-3)
Sacks in the City finally had an off week, and it cost them. This loss will make their upcoming matchup against the Orcas actually matter (Week 12). To be clear, I still believe in this team, and think that they have been deserving of that second place spot, but this top group is so good. They get a chance to make their spots up in a matchup against Play Action Jackson this week, but I had to give PAJ the edge this week due to having the stronger record.
4. Play Action Jackson (📈+1)
I delayed this power rankings as much as possible in order to delay saying anything nice about this team. You really can't argue with their record at this point. This season will live on in PAJ history as its best ever for years to come. They are currently #2 in the standings, eyeing a playoff BYE. If they can beat Sacks in the City this week, then they may move even higher on this list for me. There's a lot of talent on this team despite being clowned at the draft.
3. Zark's Sharks (📉-2)
The Sharks had the worst week of any team in this tier in week 10, and now face an uphill battle against the Orcas in week 11 without key players Mayfield and McBride. Despite being 7-3, the Sharks have fallen to 3rd in the Moss division, behind WFT (tiebreaker) and Pirates. They are now at the 5th seed, which is the lowest they've been all season. If they lose this week, they would fall to the 6th seed. All of this sounds terrible, but you still have to look at that roster. With everyone in the mix, there's no way this team fails to reach 100 again. I'm giving the Sharks the benefit of the doubt, but a loss could drop the floor out of the rankings.
2. Washington Fantasy Team (📈+1)
WFT keeps climbing, now putting together back to back top 3 scoring finishes, with both being over 140 points. Since the pick window opened, this team has been extremely dominant. Curtis knows what the hell he's doing when it comes to managing the Washington Fantasy Team, and the intangibles keep getting better, as the team put out a stellar team video in the past week. This spot is not solid for me yet, as I still worry this team is too old to hold up, but maybe WFT is in for the run of a lifetime.
1. Parma Pirates (📈+3)
The Pirates shoot back up the poll as they beat the Orcas by 100. They take the lead in the scoring title race, extended their divisional lead back to two games, and stay on top of the rankings, with a two game advantage for a BYE. The Pirates are looking very close to a BYE lock at this point, especially with PT Flea coming to town this week. When Chase is cooking like this, anything is possible for this team.
